Ruislip, Northwood & Eastcote Local History Society Official Website
The society was started in 1964 and since that time they have produced and published a great deal of research about their heritage and have promoted the conservation of the area through consultation with the local council, arranging lectures and conferences, mounting exhibitions for the local community and the formation of various working parties (e.g. Woodlands; Manor Farm).
Ruislip, Northwood & Eastcote Local History Society comprises of a varied group of people of different ages, with one common interest - our local heritage!
For some, the society provides a social, yet informative outlet. For others it provides a setting for research and discussion. In order to share some of their interest with the local community, they have mounted exhibitions in Manor Farm House as part of the London Borough of Hillingdon Arts Service annual Medieval Festival.
The society meets on the third Monday of the month from September to April at 8.15pm in St. Martin's Church Hall, High Street, Ruislip.
Cost of individual membership is £10.00
Cost of joint membership is £18.00
The society also welcome 'Corresponding Members'. For details of this or any membership enquiry, please contact the Membership Secretary.
