GLOUCESTERSHIRE FLOODS

Because of the recent floods in the area, the Museum will be closed to the public until further notice. The Museum and its collection have not been damaged by the floods in any way, but in common with much of the county, we have no fresh water supply, and this has prevented us from opening to the public. Telephone and email enquiries will continue to be dealt with while we have staff on hand who are able to answer enquiries.

We look forward to welcoming visitors once again as soon as conditions will allow.

In the meantime, please be aware that Gloucester, Tewkesbury and other areas of Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties are very hard hit indeed. If you would like to assist those most affected by the worst floods any of us here have experienced, can we direct you to the British Red Cross Appeal at www.redcross.org.uk and then go to the section headed ‘National Floods Appeal’ to make a donation.

Thank you.
