School Visits
The museum aims to play a major part in providing education facilities for primary and secondary schools in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties. We provide guided tours for schools with comprehensive work sheets to cover all aspects of the National Curriculum especially KS3 and KS4. For secondary schools with pressure of time and curriculum, we provide an outreach programme whereby we provide a power point presentation, supported by items from the collection and a talk by a qualified member of staff, who is a retired English teacher and familiar with current practice.
We provide archive service for 'A' level and degree students which includes primary source material for coursework and dissertations.
We will also provide tailor made tours to suit your particular class or lesson plan.
