Cap of Honour

Hardback, 446 pages. B/w and some colour illustrations.
Originally written by David Scott Daniel. The second edition contained additional chapters by Gen. Sir Anthony Farrar-Hockley. This is the third and final edition edited by Major Claud Rebbeck.

This last edition tells of the recent years of this historic Regiment from 1694 up until the amalgamation in 1994. This book is a must for all ‘Glosters’ and readers of military history. In his Foward to the book HRH The Duke of Gloucester states:
“If you look at the long and distinguished history of this Regiment, at its many Battle Honours and to where these victories have led, it is easy to see how significant has been the contribution of the people of Gloucestershire to the history of the world”.
